Description: The medieval church of Santa María del Rey (Atienza, Spain) was built in the Middle Ages (12th century), after the Christian conquest of this territory. This is the oldest church built in Atienza and was possibly built on the remains of the old mosque of the city. The church was built in Romanesque style, in which its two portals stand out. The north portal has inscriptions in Latin and Arabic, something very unusual for the time. The south portal is decorated with characters from the Bible. Inside the church only a beautiful Romanesque baptismal font remains.
Methodology: 3D model made in Reality Capture using 95 Leica RTC360 scan positions and 9064 terrestrial and drone-based images. Additonal processing completed in Geomagic Wrap.
